My photography career began unexpectedly while I was attending Salem State University, where I studied theatre. I am self-taught and never would have predicted the career path I'd end up on. Before college, I enjoyed taking photos during nature walks or after cooking a particularly photogenic meal, but knew I always wanted to try working with people. As a freshman, I began taking headshots for my classmates, which then led me to production photography, and eventually professional gigs. I discovered during this time that capturing and immortalizing ephemeral art forms is just as important and enjoyable for me as creating them.  Eventually, I also began exploring different genres of photography and enjoyed capturing those moments just as much.

Just about 8 years later, at 26, I'm fortunate enough to run a thriving business that has allowed me to merge my artistic passions into a career I really enjoy. In the theatrical field, I have experience in acting, directing, and tech, as well as a BFA in Theatre with a focus in Directing and Management. I've now directed for the stage, radio, and camera, and was named the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Region 1 Winner / National Finalist in 2019. My experiences in the performing arts have shaped my eye for human expression and artistic composition through storytelling, and have influenced my style as a photographer greatly.
